Introducing the BURT (Backup Reflex Terminal) by Staker Precision — a purpose-built, ultra-lightweight mounting plate that positions an Aimpoint ACRO or other compatible ACRO-footprint red dot forward on top of your Trijicon TA01 ACOG.
Weighing just 0.53 oz, the BURT adds minimal weight to your rifle while combining the rapid target acquisition of a 1× red dot with the versatility of your ACOG's 4× magnification.
The BURT utilizes the TA01's existing front-sight dovetail with a custom threaded dovetail nut and clamping screw to securely attach the mount without permanently modifying the ACOG.
Engineered to take advantage of the ACOG's forged aluminum housing, the BURT utilizes the mechanical strength of opposing dovetail surfaces rather than relying solely on the shear strength of two mounting screws, as found in traditional top-mounted optic interfaces. This design provides a positive mechanical engagement that distributes mounting loads through the dovetail interface. Two adjustable set screws provide additional stability by bearing against the top of the ACOG dovetail.
Precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with MIL-SPEC Type II black anodizing, the BURT is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.
