The SHD (Support Hand Destressor) is a lightweight, purpose-built M-LOK handstop designed to provide a comfortable, consistent, and repeatable support-hand indexing point while maintaining a minimal, low-profile footprint.
The SHD was developed to help reduce strain along the ulnar side of the hand, wrist, and forearm during extended periods at port arms. By placing the area of the 5th MCP joint (the pinky-side knuckle) on the peak of the SHD, the support hand can rest in a more natural position, helping limit excessive rotation of the support arm and reduce the repetitive loading that can contribute to discomfort over long periods of use.
Its reversible design allows the user to choose between an angled face or curved face depending on their preferred hand position and grip style. Traction grooves on the forward, rear, and bottom faces provide positive grip at multiple contact points for a secure and repeatable interface with the rifle.
The SHD mounts directly to M-LOK compatible handguards and is designed and manufactured in the USA from durable carbon fiber–impregnated nylon, providing an excellent balance of strength, stiffness, impact resistance, and low weight.
M-LOK T-nuts and mounting screws are included.
